China’s First Group Standard for “Chinese Herbal Medicine Slicing Machines” to Take Effect on March 28

On May 16, 2021, the National Group Standards Platform published the group standard “Chinese Herbal Medicine Slicing Machine” (T/NJ1212—2020), which was drafted under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences. The standard came into effect on March 28, 2021. It specifies the terms and definitions, product models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for Chinese herbal medicine slicing machines, thereby filling a gap in China’s technical requirements and inspection standards for such equipment.
