【Drug Name】
Generic Name: Ermu Ning Sough Pill
Pinyin: Ermu Ningsou Wan
【Ingredients】 Fritillaria bulb, Anemarrhena rhizome, Gypsum, Stir-fried Gardenia fruit, Scutellaria root, Honey-processed Mulberry bark, Poria, Stir-fried Trichosanthes seed, Tangerine peel, Bran-stir-fried Citrus aurantium fruit,
Rehmannia root charred with honey, and Schisandra berries steamed. The excipient is honey.
【Characteristics】 This product is a brownish-brown large honey pill; it has a faintly fragrant odor, a sweet taste, and a slightly bitter aftertaste.
【Functions and Indications】 Clears the lungs and moistens dryness, transforms phlegm and stops cough. Used for cough caused by dry-heat accumulating in the lungs, characterized by yellow, sticky sputum that is difficult to expectorate, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
Prolonged cough, hoarseness, and sore throat.
【Specification】 Each pill weighs 9 grams.
【Usage and Dosage】 Oral administration. One pill each time, twice daily.
【Adverse Reactions】 Not yet clarified.
【Contraindications】 Do not use in pregnant women.
【Precautions】
1. Avoid smoking, alcohol, and spicy, raw/cold, and greasy foods.
2. It is not advisable to take tonic traditional Chinese medicines concurrently during the course of medication.
3. Contraindicated in cases of exterior wind-cold invasion with excessive phlegm and sputum, characterized by coughing with shortness of breath, copious thin white sputum that is easy to expectorate, accompanied by nasal congestion and clear rhinorrhea.

4. Patients with spleen and stomach deficiency-cold presenting with abdominal pain, preference for warmth, and diarrhea should use this product with caution.
5. Patients with bronchiectasis, lung abscess, cor pulmonale, or pulmonary tuberculosis should seek medical attention at a hospital when they develop cough.
6. Individuals with severe chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, liver disease, diabetes, and kidney disease should take this product under the guidance of a physician.
7. Children, the elderly, and individuals in poor health should take this product under the guidance of a physician.
8. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days of medication, seek medical attention at a hospital.
9. Contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to this product; use with caution in those with an allergic constitution.
10. Do not use this product if its appearance has changed.
11. Children must use this product under adult supervision.
12. Keep this product out of reach of children.
