【Drug Name】
Generic Name: Flavor-Enhancing Remote Pill
Pinyin: Jiawei Xiaoyao Wan
【Ingredients】Bupleurum, Angelica sinensis, White Peony Root, Atractylodes Macrocephala (stir-fried with wheat bran), Poria, Licorice, Moutan Bark, Gardenia Fruit (processed with ginger), and Peppermint. The excipient is fresh ginger.
【Characteristics】This product is yellow-brown water pills; sweet in taste.
【Functions and Indications】Soothes the liver and clears heat, strengthens the spleen and nourishes the blood. Used for liver depression with blood deficiency, disharmony between the liver and spleen, distending pain in both hypochondria, dizziness and vertigo, fatigue and poor appetite, menstrual irregularities, and abdominal distension and pain around the umbilicus.
