【Drug Name】
Generic Name: Huoxiang Zhengqi Pills (Concentrated Pills)
Pinyin: Huoxiang Zhengqi Wan
【Ingredients】Patchouli, Perilla Leaf, Angelica Dahurica, Atractylodes Macrocephala (stir-fried), Tangerine Peel, Pinellia Ternata (processed), Magnolia Bark (ginger-processed), Poria, Platycodon, Licorice, Areca Nut Shell, Jujube, and Fresh Ginger. Excipients: None.
【Characteristics】This product is a dark-brown concentrated pill; it has an aromatic odor and a sweet, slightly bitter taste.
【Functions and Indications】Dispels exterior pathogenic factors and transforms dampness; regulates qi and harmonizes the middle jiao. Used for summer-damp colds, characterized by headache, heaviness of the body, chest oppression, or chills with fever, epigastric and abdominal distension and pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
【Specification】Each 8 pills are equivalent to 3 grams of the crude drug.
【Usage and Dosage】Oral administration: 8 pills each time, three times daily.
